So for the past year my right wrist has been killing me.  Pretty sure its tendinitis, but never actually got it properly diagnosed, just sort of kept dealing with it.  This is another step in just dealing with it.  Its a repeated exercise where I open and close my fist under ten pounds of rice.  Hopefully it will work, but tomorrow I’m actually going to make an appointment with a sports doctor(most likely an orthopedist) so I can finally deal with this properly.  I’d like to start climbing again for real, instead of babying myself every time I walk into the gym.  Here’s to a new year(twenty eight days late.)

Too many car related drama photos in the past few days.  Got a flat tire on 95 last night right after it snowed.  Thankfully got to a gas station so I didn’t have to change it on the side of the road in the slush, and also that I was driving my friend home so I had someone to help keep my head cool, and to help me out with the tire.

So when I went to my car this morning I got excited.  Well I was when I realized my car hadn’t been broken into.  It meant I didn’t have to move my car for alt side parking.  I went back inside and got on with my day before I had to be at work.

When I left to go to work however I noticed that this was still a crime scene.  Apparently a women got super drunk, and decided to pee on  someones front stoop.  She was so drunk that she passed out in the middle of the night and wasn’t found until this morning.  She was so cold that she barely had a pulse when they found her.

She apparently died soon after getting to the hospital.  It’s crazy how senseless life can be.

A production still from work.  I’ve been so very busy, and I know I’m only twenty days in, but I”m really stoked that I’ve been able to keep up, even if I have to be a bit terse in my posts due to time constraints.

Snow storm was on the warpath.  Couple of little flurries gracing us with their presence.  If I’m being honest on a superficial level it makes me ecstatic that I haven’t had to deal with anything major.  I’m not saying that the climate is changing(it probably is), but things have been getting very weird the past few years.  Neil Degrasse Tyson said a few interesting things one I would like to paraphrase here:

As a species we are more prepared to deal with a zombie apocalypse than a shift in climate.

There are all sorts of treats to be found, and I couldn’t help standing this one up.  It reminds me of A Christmas Story, I just want to throw a lampshade on top of it.

In almost every way we couldn’t be less alike.  This started at birth. We don’t even really look alike really.  We’re the closest thing to brothers that either of us were ever going to get.  There was teasing, and fist fighting, and bickering.  There was Nintendo, and Super Nintendo, and Dreamcast, and 64.  I got him into 311 in 1996 and he still loves em.  And no matter how different we are I love my big(smaller) cousin very much.  Happy 30th Greg.

IMG_0003_WebWeird that I’m posting a selfie.  Tried showing how bloodshot my right eye was, but couldn’t light it and get close enough given restrictions(no tripod, no time, etc.) Speaking of no time, I gotta stop writing, only had a minute to put this up.
