Only Happy When It...
Only Happy When It…

I used to love the rain.  I was a little grunge, a little angsty, a little… ridiculous.  I still sometimes enjoy the rain, but I find that I’m more outdoor centric than I used to be.  Rain means my runs are going to be a bit more trying.  That I’m going to be bound to my apartment for the day, feeling kind of crappy that I’m not getting anything done, or that I have to bring my hydrophobic camera equipment out into it if my professional life dictates.  However, we get some lovely rain filled night photography out of it.

Retrospectively, I think I really enjoyed the rain because I was such a sedentary child/teenager/college kid.  If it was raining it was way less likely that I would be asked to leave my Nintendo/TV/Couch/Apartment.

Side note: This is giving me a bit of a I Know What You Did Last Summer vibe.  What an awful movie that was.
