So this must be my obsession with moving water with a fast shutter speed phase.  I don’t think it’ll last too long, or at least it won’t be concurrent.  I had a day off yesterday and managed to do exactly nothing.  I was beginning to wonder if that was even possible anymore.  Everything is so “go go go” that sometimes I forget what its like to sit around and play video games all day.  There’s certainly a lot more guilt associated with that than there used to be.  There are so many other better uses of my rare free time.  There are a few projects that I’m really interested in starting, and the only time I have to do it is the space between work and my other responsibilities.

It’s really easy for a mantra of “Do your work, do your work, do your work,” to turn into white noise, and it’s really important to fight that urge.  This blog is really just an exercise in keeping that mantra coherent.  This is running laps for a marathon.  It’s personal, but I still get to share it.  The fact that some people enjoy it just makes it all the sweeter.
