I’m a liberal that borders on being a communist(not really, but to illustrate a point…) Sometimes we have to bite our lips and just STFU. I found myself in that situation a few days ago, and it is just hard as hell sometimes. There is such a crazy divide in this country that its just sad. There is just so much discord being sown between party lines that I don’t think we’ll ever really get along.
I don’t hate conservatives. At least not real conservatives. Middle class fiscal conservatives anyway. In fact I feel bad for most middle class conservatives, because I feel like they’ve been duped by the rich into thinking that the poor should not be helped. I’m not sure that the irony is that to the rich the middle class count as the poor or that the majority of these people are Christian.
I can only imagine the reason that people settle for this is because of some Horatio Alger wet dream that they too can strike it rich.
