One a Day

On tons of meds and demotivated.  I know I’ll eat the remainders of my cake.

Don’t fuck with your eyes.  Was misdiagnosed as a bacterial infection at the urgent care center and was given meds for that.  Got worse.  Went to an opthamologist today and was told it was viral, so now I’m on meds for that.

Now that I got that out of the way, I was thrown a surprise birthday party yesterday.  And that was amazing.  I was really happy to see everyone, and for everyone that reached out after.  I’m truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life.

I feel like the holidays are a bit of a tightrope walk for me.  On the one side I’m extremely nostalgic and love being around my loved ones.  On the other side its super difficult not to be cynical about all the flotsam and jetsam that surrounds it.

Burning up.

I’ve been doing thanksgiving in Staten Island for the last 6-8 years.  So the Verrazano Bridge has become a significant visual for that day for me.

This is what my sick day looked like.  Mad Men episodes on the couch swilling ginger ale from the bottle.

Don’t know how this red color happened with the flash but its pretty interesting.  Also black shows dust way too easily.

Catching up.

Commuting in NYC makes me feel like a salmon swimming upstream.
