I’ve had an obsession lately about taking photos of mundane actions of my life lately. Between pumping gas and doing dishes, now withdrawing money at the ATM. I don’t know why, but I really enjoy capturing these things that we don’t think twice about. Maybe its the idea of taking our time and actually being in the moment. Which we almost never do.
The culmination of my not-so-entirely lazy Sunday, and to some extent the epitome. After waking up early(for me) and going climbing, I laid outside and watched the clouds go by. So as usual here is a snapshot of my day, I love the way the sun seeps through the leaves. If you get a chance check it out full size, the detail in the middle leaf is awesome.
All my time seems to be spent on the road, which is why most of the photos I take tend to be taken near them, or in this case on them. Really wanted to take a photo that focused on the heavy fog we were seeing tonight, and decided to take it to a place where there wasn’t a fixed light source. I took 25 photos in this spot and each one of them looks completely different, because the light source changed each time. I’m want to post some other once, because there were a lot of great ones tonight. But now its 4 am and its time for sleep.
